Report: Corruption Up at US Border Patrol

Mexican drug cartels are infiltrating the ranks of U.S. border patrol agents in order to secure illegal passage for immigrants, according to the FBI.

"They're using Cold War-style tactics: Money, sex, drugs to convince officers to work with them, and to help get their products and their people across the border," said Special Agent Terry Reed, part of the FBI's ever-expanding operation working to root out corruption.

A report by the Government Accountability Office pointed out an increase in arrests and documented corruption cases among border and immigration agents, with nearly 150 arrested for corruption since 2005.
